Privacy Policy


If you register through the Site as a Member, we will ask you for personally identifiable information, which includes information that can be used to contact or identify you (e.g., name, phone number, email address, home address) (“Personal Information”). In order to process your transactions through the Site, we may also ask for your credit card number or bank account details (“Billing Information”). Please review the following table to understand what information we collect about you, why that information is collected and who can see it.

Will MyDeliChef contact me?

We will use the information you provide to contact you with newsletters, marketing materials, and other information that may be of interest you. We consider your acceptance of this Privacy Policy as your acceptance of our offer to send you these emails. If you decide at any time that you no longer wish to receive such communications from us, please click the “unsubscribe” link found within the communications or in your Account.
You will continue to receive essential Service-related and Account-related communications, even if you unsubscribe from promotional emails. Please note that you may not opt out of these communications.


Does MyDeliChef share my Personal Information?

MyDeliChef does not sell or rent your information. We disclose your Personal Information only when:
1. We have your explicit permission to share your Personal Information.
2. We need to share your Personal Information with your Chef or Member to provide the Service.
3. We need to share your Personal Information with third-party service providers who process data on our behalf in order to complete your payment transactions.
4. We employ third-party service providers to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, or to perform Site-related services, and these providers are subject to strict data protection requirements.
5. We believe it is necessary to disclose Personal Information to investigate potential violations of our Terms of Service and/or to enforce our Terms of Service.
6. We believe it is necessary to disclose Personal Information to investigate or prevent potential illegal activities, suspected fraud, or possible threats against persons, property, or the systems on which we operate the Site and the Service.
7. We determine that the access, preservation, or disclosure of Personal Information is required or permitted by law to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of MyDeliChef and its Users, or is required to comply with applicable laws, including compliance with warrants, court orders, or other legal process.
8. We share your Personal Information in connection with the sale or reorganisation of all or part of our business, as permitted by applicable law.
We may publish, disclose, and use aggregated information that does not include Personal Information and we may otherwise disclose non-personally identifiable information with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling, marketing and advertising, and other business purposes. Any aggregated information shared in these contexts will not contain your Personal Information.

As a Customer, does MyDeliChef make any of my Personal Information public?

No. MyDeliChef does not publically disclose or display the Personal Information of Members.

As a Chef, does MyDeliChef make any of my Personal Information public?

If you create a Chef Profile and opt to make it public, and/or create Products on the Site, some elements of your personal information will be made public, as described in the table above. Otherwise, your personal information will not be publically disclosed or displayed.

What Customer information does MyDeliChef share with the Chef?

When, as a Customer, you book the services of a Chef, the Chef will receive your Full name, username, Delivery/Shipping address, telephone number(s) and any additional information you included at the time of booking.
Your billing address will never be shared with the Chef.

Who can view my Chef Profile?

Once the Chef has ticked the box “Make my profile visible to customers”, any visitor to the Site can view a Chef Profile.

What tracking information does MyDeliChef collect about me or my devices?

Log data

We receive, store and process Log Data, which is information that is automatically recorded by our servers whenever you access or use the Site, regardless of whether you are registered with MyDeliChef or logged in to your MyDeliChef account. Log Data includes but is not limited to your IP Address, the date and time you access or use the Site, and the hardware and software you are using.

Cookies, Web Beacons, and Tracking URLs

A cookie is a small data file that is transferred to your device for record-keeping purposes. MyDeliChef uses cookies to assist with functions such as user authentication, remembering user preferences, understanding how users use the Site, and managing and tracking the effectiveness of our marketing efforts.
MyDeliChef utilizes “functional cookies” and “analytics cookies.” Functional cookies are cookies MyDeliChef sets to enable the website to work as intended. These cookies are necessary to enable you to move around the Site and use its features, to help recognize and remember you when you are logged into the Site, and to remember your settings and preferences. These cookies do not track your browsing activity on non-MyDeliChef websites.
Analytics cookies and similar tracking technologies help us understand how you use the Site. How can I change or delete the Personal Information in my Account?

You can review, update, correct, or delete the Personal Information in your MyDeliChef account by editing the relevant part of your MyDeliChef account. If you would like to delete your account entirely, please contact us to request deletion of your data. MyDeliChef will evaluate such requests on a case-by-case basis, pursuant to our legal obligations. Please note that any reviews and similar materials posted by you may continue to be publicly available on the Site in association with your first name and last initial, even after your MyDeliChef account is deleted.
